I am going to show you something that I know very little about and am going to just regurgitate the information that I found.
Sounds lame but the item I am going to show you today is so unusual that basically I don’t care.
Check this out…
The owner states,
This is a very rare (I have not seen another in 20 years of collecting toys) Batman Robot from Argentina from the 1960’s.
What I know for sure is that it is 110% cool. An awesome Adam West Batman plucked from the 60s, this is just fantastic. The folded metal body with lithographed details, the cloth cape and arms with attached gloves. Even a cloth head and cowl with little ears attached. Why can’t they make something like this today?
Here is some more of the owner’s description of this little guy,
I was told by the [original owner] that this robot was created as a salesman sample for the Lusla Company in Argentina back in the late 60’s. He said only 20 pieces were produced and that this one was owned by the owner’s son.
Could this be a tall tale? I don’t know. More importantly though… I don’t know if it matters.
I just love character based wind-up robots like this, if only my collecting budget allowed for pieces like this. To get him in to your collection and in the spotlight with your most valued treasures will set you back a cool $500. Sounds outrageous but it would be hard to say an item like this should sell for anything less.
At 10.5″ tall he is a little bigger that most robots of this kind which tend to average about 8″.
I love the printed graphic on the base of the box, Batman punching the air in his own distinctive don’t-mess-with-me-or-else way looks a bit more like an oral hygene ad… Holy cavity prevention where is my Bat Toothbrush Alfred?
What else can I tell you about this piece? Unfortunately the answer is not much other than I can think of 4 or 5 other Batman robots and in my mind this has got to be one of the best.

And just in case you forgot the words to the TV theme here is a quick reminder.

Best Batman robot I have seen. The Adam West look clinches it for me. Once again a foreign knockoff turns out to be cooler than cool. I clicked on the link you gave to see what else he was listing. That was pretty spectacular also.
